The South African Reserve Bank's SARB's monetary policy committee has left the repo rate unchanged at 6.5% in a unanimous decision. The announcement, made by the central bank's governor Lesetja Kganyago at a media briefing in Pretoria on Thursday afternoon, was in line with expectations of most economists.
